TBD always has a financial support and scholarship policy suitable for each student’s circumstance and ability. The policy is maintained by the university every year in order to encourage talented candidates, recognize outstanding achievements, and motivate students to pursue their dreams.

Valuable scholarships

In 2023, the University offers hundreds of scholarships that are worth tens of billions of VND for both current and new students. In particular, many full scholarships are worth up to 119.1 million VND/program. In addition to scholarships from the university, students also have the opportunity to receive scholarships from businesses and social organizations.

Types of scholarships and criteria

Talent-Development Scholarship

These scholarships are worth 30 – 50 – 75 – 100% of the first year tuition fees.

Eligible candidates admitted to TBD who have good grades and meet one of the following conditions:

• GPA is 7.0 or higher; or
• Achieving an international certificate in English (IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 60, TOEIC 600 or higher), or Korean (Topik 4 or higher), or Chinese (HSK 4 or higher); or
• Winning prizes at provincial level or higher in competitions (Excellent Student, Science and Technology, etc.)

Study- Encouragement scholarship

These scholarships are worth 30 – 50 – 75 – 100% of the first year tuition fees.

Eligible candidates who are admitted to TBD having good conducts yet are struggling with financial circumstances and satisfy one of the following conditions:

• GPA is 7.0 or higher; or
• Achieving an international certificate in English (IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 60, TOEIC 600 or higher), or Korean (Topik 4 or higher), or Chinese (HSK 4 or higher); or
• Winning prizes at provincial level or higher in competitions (Excellent Student, Science and Technology, etc.)

Scholarship for Diversity

These scholarships are worth 30 – 50 – 75 – 100% of the first year tuition fees.

The scholarship is for candidates who are ethnic minorities who are passionate about learning and want to develop themselves and the community.

Scholarship from enterprises

This scholarship is for students who are studying at the school based on their academic records.

Scholarship application process:

Complete the scholarship application form (here- cần file này, V sẽ chuyển sang T.A.)
Motivation letter: Specifying family background, academic and career goals, reason for choosing TBD to accomplish the goal;
A letter of recommendation from a teacher who knows your academic history, as well as your family situation;
A copy of transcripts or other personal proof of achievement;
Copies of other supporting documents required by each type of scholarship (if any).
