The primary goal of this cooperation agreement is to successfully organize the international conference “The Innovative Teaching Methods in Law and Criminal Justice in Asian Countries,” focusing on sharing innovative teaching methods in the field of law and criminal justice in Asian countries.

TBD has completed the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (M.O.A).

The signing ceremony was attended by several distinguished individuals from the involved institutions:

From Thai Binh Duong University: Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong – President, Dr. Le Anh Van – Vice Dean in charge of the Faculty of Law and Governace, Dr. Le Thi Kieu Anh – Deputy Head of Research and International Cooperation Department, MSc. Le Trung Nghia – Head of the University Office, MSc. Nguyen Huu Quy – Chief Accountant.

Representatives from SLSU include Dr. Jude A. Duarte – President, Dr. Francis Ann R. Sy – Vice President in charge of Research, Extension & Innovation, Dr. Ingrid M. Uy – Director, External Linkages and International Affairs Office, Dr. Gerald L. Ceniza – Dean, Faculty of Criminal Justice, and Dr. Marie Khul C. Langub – Director of Extension Services and Research Innovation.

From the University of Law, there are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong – President , Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong – Vice President, Dr. Nguyen Cong Son – Chairman of the University Council, Dr. Cao Dinh Lanh – Head of the Department of Science, Technology, and International Cooperation, along with staff and lecturers in attendance.

At the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong – President of Thai Binh Duong University, shared: “In the context of globalization and rapid technological advancement, the fields of law and criminal justice are facing unprecedented challenges. Transnational crime, cybercrime, and other complex social issues require us to come up with new solutions, innovative approaches.

“This conference will be a forum for us to discuss these issues together, share experiences, and find effective solutions. I believe that through innovative teaching methods, we will educate a generation of lawyers and legal experts capable of upholding justice, ensuring law and order, and contributing to building a better society.”

In its role as the lead institution, SLSU will provide keynote speakers, co-manage presentation sessions, oversee guest management, and ensure the quality of the activities.

The Thai Binh Duong University and the University of Law (Hue University) as co-organizers will participate in selecting speakers, promoting the conference, and supporting other activities to ensure the success of the event.

This signing ceremony marks a significant step in international cooperation between universities in Vietnam and the Philippines in the field of education. The upcoming international conference is expected to be a vibrant academic forum, contributing to enhancing the reputation of Vietnamese universities on the international stage.
