On August 27th, Thai Binh Duong University (TBD) along with the Network of Law Training Institutions in Vietnam and Hue University of Law (HUL) officially signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in organizing an International Conference commemorating the 300th anniversary of the birth of philosopher Immanuel Kant.
The signing ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere with the participation of a large number of scientists and lecturers from both institutions. Representing Thai Binh Duong University were Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong – President of the University, Dr. Le Anh Van – Vice Dean in charge of the Faculty of Law and Governace, and Dr. Le Thi Kieu Anh – Deputy Head of Research and International Cooperation Department.
On the side of the University of Law, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Luong – President of the University of Law (Hue University), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Phuong – Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Cong Son – Chairman of the University Council, Dr. Cao Dinh Lanh – Head of the Department of Science, Technology, and International Cooperation, along with other staff and lecturers in attendance.
The main objective of this memorandum of understanding is to coordinate and successfully organize an International Scientific Conference with the theme “Justice and Legal Rights: Philosophical and Interdisciplinary Approaches.” The conference is scheduled to take place on January 10, 2025, at Thai Binh Duong University.
According to the memorandum of understanding, the two parties will collaborate on the following aspects:
- Preparation and organization of the conference: This includes developing the program, inviting speakers, and handling other organizational tasks.
- Attracting participation of scientists: Conducting promotional activities and soliciting contributions.
- Publishing research works: Compiling and publishing high-quality articles presented at the conference.
This collaborative signing event signifies a significant step forward in the cooperative relationship between TBD and HUL within the framework of the Network of Law Training Institutions in Vietnam. It also demonstrates the increasing academic community’s interest in ethical, legal, and sustainable societal development issues.
The International Scientific Conference on “Justice and Legal Rights: Philosophical and Interdisciplinary Approaches” is expected to be a reputable scientific event, attracting the interest of numerous researchers both domestically and internationally.
